Shipping policy

Delivery Times:

We are committed to delivering your products quickly and smoothly. We partner with multiple third-party delivery carriers to deliver throughout Australia. Your items may be shipped in multiple packages and shipments from different delivery partners.

The speed of delivery depends on the type of product, availability, and your location.

Shipments are delivered Monday to Friday between 9am - 5pm.

 

Shipping Rates:

Shipping is capped, but may vary by location. Generally shipping is free except for large and bulky items, such as most furniture, and the actual rate will be automatically calculated at checkout.

As a general guide, furniture shipping will be charged at the following rates:

Brisbane:                              FREE

NSW, ACT, VIC, rest of QLD:  $170

WA, SA, NT, TAS:                 $280

At this time Zusimey Home is young and has few warehouses. We hope to expand into other states and significantly reduce shipping costs in the future.

 

Delivery Service:

Smaller items may be delivered by Australia Post or other carriers. Larger items, such as furniture, will be delivered by courier.

 

Exclusions:

For certain postcodes we may be unable to deliver, such as very remote areas. If you suspect this may refer to you, please contact us and we will endeavour to arrange delivery if possible.

 

Delayed Delivery:

We reserve the right to reschedule delivery due to unforeseen circumstances. Specific delivery times cannot be guaranteed. We are not liable for any consequences or losses due to delivery delays.

 

Authority to Leave:

You may give us permission or 'Authority to Leave’ if you contact us prior to the order being shipped. you can authorise the delivery person to leave your items at your address in case you will not be there. By choosing this option, you confirm that you have a safe area for the goods to be left. Zusimey Home cannot be held responsible for any loss of goods if you provide Authority to Leave.

 

Additional Charges for Re-Delivery:

Changes to scheduled deliveries must be requested within 3 business days prior to your confirmed delivery. Requests made after this timeframe may be subject to a Re-delivery Fee.

  • Accessibility issues: Failed delivery due to accessibility issues incurs a fee of $100 and will be charged for re-delivery.
  • Missed – Not at Home: Where customers are not in attendance during the arranged delivery window, a fee of $100 will be charged for re-delivery.
  • Incorrect Delivery Address: Where a customer has provided incorrect delivery details, a fee of $100 will be charged for re-delivery.

 

Signing for Proof of Delivery (POD):

Proof of Delivery is an acknowledgment that the goods arrived intact. Before signing the Proof of Delivery, we suggest following this checklist:

1. Check items for visible damage,
2. Confirm you have received the correct items as per the Proof of Delivery and delivery order,
4. If there is serious damage to a carton, bring it to the attention of the delivery driver,
5. If there is any damage, take photos of the damage and cartons,
6. Indicate any property damage caused by delivery on the Proof of Delivery, and provide photographs to document the damage.

Once you have inspected the shipment and documented any issues, you can obtain the driver's signature or initials next to your notes about any damaged items or property on the Proof of Delivery. Please refrain from disposing of the cartons until the issue is resolved.

 

Delivery Restrictions

We reserve the right to refuse delivery to specific locations for items that we consider at high risk of loss or damage, as well as areas that are inaccessible with our home delivery services. In such cases, you have the option to use your own couriers for delivery, but please note that you will be responsible for any insurance coverage for loss or damage caused during delivery.

Please be aware that we cannot deliver to PO boxes or Parcel Lockers. Our goods are typically delivered by courier or specialist furniture carriers directly to your door, requiring a signature upon delivery.
